About Us
We are a relaxed and enthusiastic group of individuals who share a passion and joy for photography. We encourage members from all levels of experience, running the gamut from beginners to professional. Our activities include Photoshop workshops, annual exhibitions, monthly photo contests, peer review, guest speakers, field trips, stock photography, and the camaraderie of like minded people. Something for everyone.
With the diversity and experience within our group, if there is anything about photography you would like to know or learn, all you need to do is ask. Be ready for inspiring sessions.
Our club’s mandate is to not only promote visual art in the community, but also educate members with workshops, inspiring videos, and fieldtrips throughout the year. The Photographic Arts are an important fabric of our cultural heritage, with an eye towards recognizing and acknowledging upcoming local talent.
We meet the second Thursday of every month at the Cultural Center, 7:00pm in the Photo Studio. Drop in for a visit. Coffee and tea is always hot.
